Immune Boosting NingXia Gummy Recipe

Autumn is upon us which means that it is time to RAMP UP our immune boosting practices in order to stay healthy! I recently posted a Youtube video all about my favorite ways to naturally boost my immune system as well as the products I use when I do get sick. You can watch it here.

In that video I mention the star of this recipe & my favorite powerhouse liquid supplement, Ningxia Red. “Packed with powerful antioxidants and superfoods, NingXia Red features wolfberry, plum, aronia, cherry, blueberry, and pomegranate juices and extracts to start your day off right. It also contains a blend of premium essential oils, including Orange, Yuzu, Lemon, and Tangerine. These ingredients combine to help prevent oxidative stress, support normal cellular function, and promote healthy energy levels” (youngliving.com). It also tastes DELICIOUS, so it is a win-win! You can purchase NingXia along with my other immune boosting favs here.

Gummy Recipe:

  • 1 cup of NingXia Red

  • 1 cup tart cherry juice (make sure to get 100% pure juice to avoid weird additives).

  • 8 tbsp lemon or lime juice

  • 6 tbsp honey (I recommend buying local honey for extra immune boosting effects!)

  • 8 tbsp of grass fed gelatin  (so good for your gut health which in turn boosts your immune system function).

Directions:

  • Combine NingXia, cherry juice, lemon or lime juice & honey in a pot over medium heat stirring occasionally.

  • Wait until it gets fairly warm (not boiling) and your honey is fully melted and then remove it from the heat.

  • Quickly whisk in the gelatin being sure to stir until all the clumps are dissolved.

  • Pour mixture into a pan or gummy molds (I use an 8x8 glass pan and then cut into squares once solid)

  • Refrigerate overnight or until the liquid has solidified and then they are ready to eat! Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
